i've always dealt with sliver players with either counterspells, stone rains, ostracize, millstoning (i have four) or playing winter orb and smoke early on to prevent anything.

I actually run a sliver deck i made in one night. A nasty combo is Aether Flash and Death Pits of Rath. I love to keep a healthy supply of counter-spells in my sliver deck as my main removal type though. There are a few slivers you may want to keep in your sidebar or definately grab in a timespiral booster draft. There are several slivers that give all slivers defender and several other boons.

god i havent played D&D in so long ... havent played anything D20 actually ... i feel bad now ... i wanna try something new though preferably something based of the similar D&D style or system but a different setting or something (or at least something that isnt Greyhawk).
