I don't know why I am posting this, but hurrrrrr told me to.
so, basically it's 2000, I'm still a young boy, our family gets a new computer, yay, woot.
At the time, we had a Pentium 166mhz, 32mb of RAM and a stupendous 2gb HD with a 10x CD drive. It's was a fucking awesome machine.
So the new computer is a pIII 700mhz, 64mb, 15gb HD,56x CD drive. Smokin' hot. The 166mhz is now officially mine (before that, my computer was a 386, we had lots of computers, the older one always mine. We gave the 386 away.)
4 years pass, we sell the 166mhz, get a 1ghz Celeron (piece of shit still in my brother's house), the pIII is mine (but I used it a lot before being mine, unlike the others).
2 years pass (2006 if you can't keep up), the pIII is still mine, but blew up, it was now a K6 (still I loved that little thing), I used it for main gaming (nothing fancy, of course), and internet. The motherboard apparently was having problems, because eventually all the programs would error me in the face (not generic crashes, but distinctive errors by each program). It wasn't a virus, a local techie stated it was a motherboard fault.
So, friend comes in, "blah blah blah i has motherboard, let me fix it". His room, you must see it. It's like a giant computer, with pieces (some now mine) scattered around. You could build up to 20 computers at once with that, from 486s to pIVs. Okay, I lend him the computer, all is good so far.
2008. Two years have passed. Did I get the pIII back? No. Did I, in the same year (2006), get a new computer? Yeah, a 2.13ghz celeron, which I'm using right now. Am I happy about this? No, I have some old files which I wanted to get back, SINCE 2006. Have I tried to contact him? Yeah, many times. Did he try to avoid me? Yeah, twice. Other times, he just didn't return the call.
So, today, February 23, 2008 I call him again. He says he has all my personal files in 2 CDs and would be glad to give them to me, tomorrow, 10 AM. Okay, great, I hate waking up early on Sundays, but anything for my files back. But, interestingly enough, he fit about, say, 10gb give or take of files into 1 cds. RememberMessage too long. maybe he didn't include programs or system files? That could greatly reduce the size of data.

This is just a rant because I can. This weekend has sucked balls. I've had a ton of homework...which still isn't finished, didn't sleep friday night and had to take care of some stupid little high school kids coming to visit my college, then all day saturday I had to work (after not sleeping at all) and lost my Employee ID, student ID, and work clock in card. I passed out yesterday after work at about 4 pm, and woke up today at 9:30 am. 17 and a half hours of sleep. Eventually found my IDs...thankfully or I would have had to pay $50 for a new student ID, but have had massive ADD all day so I haven't been able to get any work done. Fuck this weekend.
Just wonder who anon likes, I am torn because I hate old people, blacks, and women belong in the kitchen.

Meh, older people are the lesser of the three evils in my opinion, especially since Hillary and Obama are acting like 3 year olds on the campaign trail.
